Extend life. Cut waste. Keep value working.
Third-party maintenance keeps hardware productive for longer, turning the end of an OEM warranty into the start of a smarter, greener service life.
Sustainable support that makes commercial sense.
Every piece of critical infrastructure that stays in productive service is one that does not need to be manufactured, shipped and disposed of early. Extending service life avoids the heavy carbon cost of premature replacement, defers capital spend for the customer, and keeps a recurring support relationship with you.
Logic Supplies maintenance programme lets partners keep existing hardware operational, extending useful life well beyond the Manufacturers lifecycle while keeping it fully supported.
- Extending useful life and cutting embodied carbon from early refresh
- Post-warranty and end-of-service-life hardware kept fully supported
- Legacy estates the OEM no longer actively supports
- Bridging cover while a refresh is planned and budgeted
- Mixed estates that need one coherent, sustainable support model
Every extra year of service avoids a year of new carbon.
Most of a device’s carbon footprint is locked in before it is ever switched on, in the mining, manufacturing and shipping that built it. Keeping working hardware in service spreads that embodied carbon across more years and avoids the emissions of building a replacement. The figures below are indicative estimates of embodied CO2e avoided per device for each additional year kept in productive service, drawn from published manufacturer carbon data.
CO2e avoided per server, for every extra year it stays in productive service
Figures are indicative per-device estimates of embodied (manufacturing) CO2e avoided for each additional year a working device is kept in service rather than replaced, calculated by amortising the manufacturing share of each product’s carbon footprint across a typical service life. Real-world equivalences use US EPA conversion factors (2.45 miles per kg CO2e; a working tree absorbing around 21 kg CO2e per year). Actual savings vary by model, configuration, region and usage. The warranty ended. The kit still works.
A forced refresh the customer did not budget for, or a working estate written off years too early. Neither is an easy conversation, and walking away leaves money and goodwill on the table.
Give the customer a third option: keep the hardware supported and productive for longer. You protect the relationship, defer their spend, and keep a recurring line of revenue.
